Challenge 5: Sneak Attack

This challenge got us to learn more about the gyro sensor, by using the other function it has. This function, instead of measuring the angle of the sensor, it measures the rate of change of the angle.

On this challenge I worked with Zion. We made our "game" that there are two buttons that you can press, one of them moves the sensor quickly triggering a high pitch noise, and the other moves it slowly triggering a lower pitch.

In this challenge I learned that sensors often have different things they can be used for, and that there are often much simpler ways to do things than you may think. I would say that the construction of the robot went quite well, with the setup of the motor and sensor. The program itself could have gone a little better, I think we tried to make it too complex, and in doing so we confused ourselves. We ended up rewriting the entire code, that was rather difficult due to the fact we still didn't entirely understand the functions of some of the actions we were trying to use.

I would like to improve on knowing which functions to use for what, and not getting things confused as much. My goals would have to be to figure out how to solve issues in the code with less help from others, and to get better at troubleshooting in general.

this was the final result.
