I have never been in a class without marks before but I have to say it has been nothing but awesome so far.
I find that it takes a lot of the pressure off of just getting good marks, and lets us focus more on the actual work and bettering ourselves. I've noticed that I have been taking more risks with my work because I'm not afraid of it not working properly and getting a bad mark on the assignment.
In the creativity aspect, I found that I'm a lot more open to exploring the different possibilities and ways of completing the objective. As opposed to making the most basic and simplest model possible just to get it done fast. I find myself trying out things I've never used before and seeing if I can make them work with the challenge, which is something I don't think I would be doing if I had to worry about it affecting my mark in the course.
Personally I do think that more feedback from the teacher would be good, because it seems like we as the students do a lot of our own assessment, from writing our report card comments to doing all our work almost entirely independently. all we've really gotten from the teacher is an indication of our work habits on our report cards. And that being a single letter doesn't say a lot about how we really worked.
I don't have many continuing concerns except for maybe the fact that people could start to take advantage of the fact that they don't "need" to do good quality work and start to goof off more than actually do the work.
